Green Impact Zone

We were honored to be asked to set up a booth yesterday, to introduce Urban Eden, at the Green Impact Zone event. The Green Impact zone is for the folks who live in a 150 block radius stretching between Troost and Prospect. We met a couple hundred people, and they were beyond kind and intrigued! The purpose of this event is to meet people, once again invest in them (giving them opportunities to gain skills like gardening, etc). Grant and I totally dug it. This is what we wish we could do full-time... empower neighborhoods and whole communities to grow their own sustainable gardens and set them up for success! We know how much it has affected our lives to be able to grow our own food (physically, spirtually, etc.) and we want to be able to assist anyone who has even a twinkle in their eye about the possibility! We love our 'job!'
